General ADSL Information:

ADSL allows you to surf the web at up to 50 times the speed of a standard 28k modem. Your computer stays connected to the internet 24 hours a day but you can still use the same phone line for voice or fax calls. All calling features remain intact (like Caller ID, and Call Waiting) and business users no longer have to pay for local phone charges to connect to the Internet.

Required Equipment:

The only equipment you will need to connect to our network is a 10baseT or better network card, commonly available at computer stores like Frey's or CompUSA. Verizon supplies a modem kit with instructions on how to setup the line, a modem and cables to connect to your computer. If you wish to connect more than one computer to the ADSL line, you will need a hub as well as network cards and ethernet cables for each computer.
